This is the black plastic steam knob insert that is used within Shades of Coffee wooden steam knobs.
It requires a hole 12mm diameter and approx 17mm deep. The insert is tapered at the bottom, but essentially12.1mm dia to ensure a good friction fit.
Usually it is friction fitted (pressed or lightly hammered in) with additional epoxy resin within the hole to ensure longevity of fit.
It is supplied with a steam knob spring fitted.
