Precision E&B filter basket from IMS

Specifications:

  • Ridgeless
  • Top edge ø 70 mm
  • Bottom edge ø 60 mm
  • Height 15g: 22mm, 18g: 24mm,  20g: 26mm
  • The filter has a cylindrical profile with a perforated area of 49 mm and 715 holes.
  • Standard or Nanotech coated

Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel - food-safe certified.

Holes made with a precise diameter and number specifically designed and tested to ensure homogeneous extraction, with more holes around the edges of the basket than the BaristaPro.

Electropolishing, to guarantee a surface with higher strength and durability.

The optional nanotech coated versions offer a non-stick crystal quartz nanotech coating.  We'd advise you to only use water when cleaning Nanotech coated products - using Cafiza, Puly Caff or similar detergent cleaners can affect the coating (though IMS state that it is perfectly fine to use, and the absence of the "rainbow" colours of the coating is not an indication that the coating has worn off).

100% made in Italy

All the modifications that I've made to my Gaggia Classic Pro have improved my coffee in varying degrees, but this basket has made the most significant difference. Just looking at it from the puck perspective, beforehand they were always very damp and sloppy, now they are firm and dry and although I'm still tweaking the grind size, my cappuccinos are the best I've done. Buy this basket!
