We've custom designed these deeper and slim / shallow drip trays, and are 3D printing them in black PLA+ in limited quantities.
This drip tray differs from the normal slim drip tray that we sell in so far as there is a 40mm extension on the front of it - which has two self-adhesvive rubber feet underneath (so that it sits on the counter-top). This design was created and the product produced in response to customers asking for a deeper drip tray with such an extension, so that they could more easily place weighing scales on the drip tray.
They are designed to accept the original black plastic undertray as well as the original stainless steel drip plate from your original Gaggia drip tray.
As they are shallower than the original, at 25mm high - which is around 30mm lower than the original drip-tray, we are also supplying a custom stainless steel vent tube (6mm OD, 0.5mm walls, just like the original - but better quality and with a quality stainless finish rather than chrome) that is longer (158mm) so that it reaches the drip tray perfectly. This longer vent tube is also available on its own from us here.
Obviously as this part is 3D printed, every part will differ slightly. Print quality should be good - though due to the printing process and material used, there will be imperfections and texturing visible that are typical to 3D printing with plastic filament such as this. We have provided images of the drip tray within the Gallery so that you can see a typical finished product and see the expected finish and texture - they are functional rather than necessarily beautiful! It takes us around a day of 3D printing time to print each deep drip tray, hence production and stock quantities will be limited.
These unfortunately have to be slightly more expensive than the normal slim drip tray, as the printing of these takes significantly more time and uses significantly more material than the standard ones. (We can make only one of these in the time that we can make two normal ones).
NOTE that the PLA+ material that these drip trays are made with is NOT suitable for washing in a dishwasher! The tray will probably deform. Washing in warm soapy water will be fine. Whilst the PLA+ material that these drip trays are made from will start to soften slightly at temperatures above around 70c, we design and print these trays with air gaps and low infil to ensure that they remain water-tight and have structural integrity when holding water at close to 100c.
IMPORTANT We generally make these on-demand, as ordered - and our 3D printers are always printing something 24x7. However, even though these may show as in-stock, dispatch of orders for any of our drip-trays may be slightly delayed for a few days due to production timescales - and dispatch preference will be given to orders which also include other items (esp PID kits).

- Deeper slim drip tray, 25mm high (by 194mm wide and 160mm deep) and 3D printed in black PLA+ (without plastic undertray and stainless steel grille), with two adhesive rubber feet on the front underside.
- Custom 6mm OD x 0.5mm walls (5mm ID) stainless steel vent tube, 158mm long
