This is the small M5x12 showerscreen mounting screw that we provide free with the purchase of any showerscreen. Its's suitable for the original Gaggia Classic and also the Classic Pro / 2019 models, as well as any other Gaggia machines using the same size and type of screw.
As it has a hex head, rather than a cross-head, it makes the insertion and removal and future maintenance much easier - with less chance (zero?) of the head stripping and you being unable to remove it when you next wish to remove the showerscreen. The standard screw is very prone to this and can be very difficult to remove.
You should use a 3mm allen key with this screw.
NOTE that photos show the M5x8 version of this screw; though we are now supplying the slightly longer M5x12 version - which aids shower screen fitment in machines with the old aluminium dispersion plate.

Thanks for your question. It's a metric screw so ideally you will need a 3mm Allen key or hex driver, or alternatively a T15 Torx driver will also work with it. The closest imperial size is 7/64" Allen key - which will work though it's a loose fit and a metric tool is advised, to avoid rounding out the hex socket.Hope this helps.
